MARK MATERIAL DESCRIPTION POINTS

LA3

BLUE  POLYSET

UHMW virgin polyethylene Maximum working temperature : 90 oC

T = 5  / 3 mm

A special groove allows introduction in most common holders: rivets can be fitted in other cases. Ideal for wire section.

 LA1

 RED SUPERPOLYSET

UHMW polyethylene identical to LA3 but reinforced with glass fibers.

T = 5 / 3 mm

Low coefficient of friction combined with superior resistance to wear:

 LB5

 BROWN  PHENOSET

Woven Cotton laminate bonded with Phenolic resin. Maximum working  temperature : 130 oC

2.3 mm < T < 3.2 mm

Thermosetting doctor blade with the low coefficient of friction.

LC1

BLACK
SUPER CARBOSET

100% special carbon fiber reinforced & bonded with epoxy resin. Working temperature up to: 180oC. Best Chemical and wear resistance. Resistance to transversal traction stress at 23oC: 800 N/mm2.

1.5 mm < T < 2 mm

Doctor Blade of the new generation with highest resistance to wear along with Best self-lubricating properties.

 LBR

ABRASIVE

Fiberglass layers with the addition of abrasive materials bonded with Epoxy Resin.

Resistance to bending: 400 N/mm2.

1.5 mm < T < 1.9 mm

Fiberglass doctor blade with best Cleaning action : to be used under the most severe cleaning conditions at MG and dryers.

LB7

GREEN EPOXY

Fiberglass layers bonded with Epoxy resin. Maximum working temperature: 170oC. Resistance of Transversal traction stress at
23oC : 400 N/mm2.

1.5 mm < T < 2.8 mm

Most commonly used fiberglass doctor blade for a wide range of applications. Best possible synthetic material during change over from a metal blade. Outstanding performance on some types of presses, calendars and on dryer cylinders.

LB1

GREY
CARBOSET

Fiberglass, carbon fiber layers bonded with Epoxy resin. Maximum working temperature : 180oC. Excellent chemical resistance. Resistance to transversal traction stress at 23 oC : 770 N/mm2.

1.5 mm < T < 2.0 mm

A leading edge in modern doctoring : the use of one of the most technological and prestigious materials guarantee an outstanding performance in terms of life and cleaning action of the doctor  blade with high pressure loads.

LB3

RED SUPER  EPOXY

Fiberglass layers specially arranged to obtain higher resistance to wear , bonded  with Epoxy resin. Maximum working temperature : 180oC.. Resistance to transversal traction stress at 23 oC : 650 N/mm2.

1.5 mm < T < 2.0 mm
