JAYKAY’s foray in the spreader roll business started with H.Wittler in the year 1980 , amidst the monopoly of the famous “Mount hope”. In continuation to our efforts on the philosophy of “ know the unknown” , within a years time Wittler rolls were as popular with supplies to all the major Indian OEM’s and mills. Very soon in subsequent years Wittler rolls had nearly 95% share, the first metal covered and variable bow roll was also introduced in the market with astounding success. In the year 1995 Wittler was taken over by Stowe Woodward Ag , which already had ‘ mount hope’ under their belt. The acquisition helped JAYKAY to consolidate the market and acquire extensive know-how from Stowe Woodward with nearly 100 years experience in similar industry.
